Governance and Structure

The Tourism Association of Vancouver Island (dba 4VI Group) is the official non-profit society behind 4VI Group, a social enterprise dedicated to serving the Vancouver Island Region. Established over 60 years ago, the organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of tourism business owners and senior leaders from across the region.

The Board ensures strategic oversight and accountability to our stakeholders and rightsholders—the more than 870,000 residents who call Vancouver Island home. We are deeply grateful for the expertise and leadership our board members bring to the organization.

Board recruitment is conducted annually through the Nominating Committee, which issues a public call for nominees to ensure broad representation and strong governance.
