Tourism Development Specialist, Tourism Cowichan, 4EVER Strategies Inc. (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Brittany is an economic development professional with over a decade of experience across tourism, destination marketing, and community development. She has worked with organizations including Economic Development Cowichan, Go Western Newfoundland, Château Victoria Hotel & Suites, and Merridale Cidery & Distillery. She holds a Diploma in Tourism Management from Humber College and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph. Brittany contributes strengths in research, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector collaboration to the 4EVER Strategies team.

In her role, Brittany works closely with the Tourism Cowichan Society Board of Directors, along with regional stakeholders and community partners, to support coordinated action across the sector. Her work centres on advancing sustainable tourism initiatives and strengthening the visitor economy throughout the Cowichan region. Her perspective on tourism as a driver of community well-being has been shaped by experience in both rural and urban settings, as well as her work supporting regional economic priorities through applied research and program delivery.

With a strong foundation in both economic and tourism development, Brittany is motivated by opportunities to align visitor experiences with community values and long-term resilience. Based in the Cowichan Valley, she enjoys exploring local trails and coastlines and is always on the hunt for a great dog-friendly beach.
