Nicholas Curry is a tourism strategist and community-builder with over a decade of hospitality management experience in Ucluelet and Tofino. As Tourism Development Specialist with 4EVER Strategies, Nicholas leads destination stewardship efforts in Ucluelet, helping to shape a visitor economy that supports local businesses, strengthens community well-being, and contributes to climate resilience.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. His interest in sustainable development was sparked through the Sustainable Cities International Youth Internship Program, where he supported planning initiatives in the municipality of Viacha, Bolivia—an experience that continues to inform his place-based approach to tourism and community engagement.

In addition to his work in the public and nonprofit sectors, Nicholas has owned and managed his own small business, giving him a tangible understanding of the intricacies of being a business owner and manager on the West Coast. This hands-on experience informs his work with local stakeholders and deepens his commitment to building a resilient and responsive tourism ecosystem.

Nicholas brings a passion for organizational structure, destination marketing, and the evolving role tourism plays in supporting health, wellness, and community vitality. He’s also an avid cook, outdoor enthusiast, and big believer in the connections between quality of life and the places we share. Based on the West Coast, Nicholas is proud to contribute to Ucluelet’s journey toward regenerative and sustainable tourism and a flourishing community.
